Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. The journey overland will take approximately 30 minutes. On arrival, register at the reception counter. Firstly, proceed for a 30 min video show and briefing on the Centre. The Centre was founded in 1964, to rehabilitate orphaned baby orangutans – most rescued from logging sites/plantations because of illegal hunting or illegal pet trade. Itinerary 0930hrs - Meet at hotel lobby and proceed to the Kota Kinabalu main train station. On arrival, briefing by the guide and board the historical colonial era "Steam Engine Train". As the train approaches the final destination, the steward will give a briefing to all passengers on the disembarkation process and the things the passengers can do in the town of Papar. Itinerary Meet at hotel lobby and proceed to Monsopiad Cultural Village located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Kota Kinabalu.
