Full Day Kota Belud Wetland Usukan Cove – EB-KK27

Itinerary Day 1 Pick up from City Hotel at approximately 1.30 pm and depart for Kota Belud (1 and a half hour drive only from KK City). A journey offering a scenic view of paddy fields, villages and picturesque sight of Mount Kinabalu from a different angle. Arrive at Usukan Cove Lodge (UCL). Light refreshment will be served, and safety and program briefing will be conducted. Begin the river cruise with a boat ride across Usukan Cove amidst scenic view of its beaches, entering Kawa Kawa river. You will be greeted by the Majestic view of Mount Kinabalu at the background and before long the sight of bouncy crowds of Proboscis Monkeys will engross river cruisers. Village panorama along the cruise will equally fascinate you. The journey out from the river will be dramatic as the sun sets and if you are lucky, even a slight drizzle will add colours to the view as the rainbow appears on the horizon. Last but not least if the weather is favorable, the boat ride culminates with the show of X'mas light (delightful spectacle of fireflies) along Abai River. Itinerary 0740 hrs Meet On arrival at Sandakan Airport at Hotel lobby. Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, journey will take approximately 30 minutes. On arrival, register at the reception counter and proceed to the Platform A to observe the daily feeding of the Orang Utan. After witnessing the feeding, proceed to the reception centre for a 30 min video show on the centre. After the Video show, depart Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre for the Labuk Bay Proboscis Sanctuary. Witness the Proboscis feeding in it's natural habitat. After the feeding Sandakan Town for lunch. Transfer to Sandakan Airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu or to the hotel. End of tour.

9.45 hr Meet at hotel lobby and proceed to jetty in downtown Kota Kinabalu. On arrival at jetty, board boat for a 20 minute ride to the beautiful Sapi Island off the City of Kota Kinabalu. Enroute, a brief stopover at the picturesque Manukan island. Arrive at Sapi Island. 10.20 hr Free to swim or snorkel or just laze around the beach soaking the tropical sun. There are also trails for short nature walk. Labuan city tour (EB-LBN01)

Descriptive Itinerary Morning Departure : 0930hr   Afternoon Departure : 1430hr Meet on arrival at airport / ferry terminal or at Hotel Lobby. Proceed for the tour with the first stop at the Museum Square, where one can still see a few old houses of colonial design. Four old Flame of the Forest still stand in this area, casting a shade over park benches and commemorative stones. The trees were planted by the Chinese, Malay , Indians and European Communities in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth ll. From the Museum Square, proceed to the Chimney at Tanjung Kubong, the Chimney is a 106 feet high red brick stack believe to be linked to the coal mining days of Labuan. Proceed to the Labuan Bird Park, three large dome shaped cages surrounding beautiful landscaping. The park is home to many species of birds of Borneo and birds from other countries. Drive along Labuan West Coast to Layang-Layangan Peace Park and the Japanese Surrender Point. The Peace park was constructed to symbolize the promise of peace and harmony for all mankind. North Borneo Railway (EB-KK17)

Itinerary 0930hrs - Meet at hotel lobby and proceed to the Kota Kinabalu main train station. On arrival, briefing by the guide and board the historical colonial era "Steam Engine Train". As the train approaches the final destination, the steward will give a briefing to all passengers on the disembarkation process and the things the passengers can do in the town of Papar. This stopover will be a 30 minute stopover and passengers can visit the local market or just wander through the town. 1000hrs - Train will depart amidst the hissing of steam for the 66km journey to the town of Papar, journey will pass by small towns, paddy fields, mangrove jungle and beaches. Enroute the train will make a stop over at a Chinese Buddhist temple. Passengers can disembark for photo shoot. 1215hrs - Depart Papar town for the return journey to the city of Kota Kinabalu. On this return journey passengers will be served the "Tiffin - Styled Lunch " ( a blend of colonial and continental cuisine ). 1345hrs - On arrival at the Kota Kinabalu train station, passengers disembark and meet on arrival for transfer to hotel. Monsopiad Cultural Village (EB-KK04)

Itinerary Meet at hotel lobby and proceed to Monsopiad Cultural Village located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Kota Kinabalu. On arrival, register at the reception counter, meet the local guide for the village and proceed to the restaurant for a welcome drink. After the welcome drink, follow the guide to visit the various traditional farmhouses. In the farmhouse are displays of various tools, baskets, musical instruments and other everyday tools, food that the local natives use. Within the Monsopiad Village is the "Gintutun do Mohoing", a stone monolith erected long ago, a silent witness to many legends of Monsopiad. Within it, is believed to dwell spirits from the past. Today, many people visit the stone for luck. The guide will explain the various houses, the materials used, the methods use to de husk the staple food "rice". Finally visit the "House of Skulls" where the 42 skulls of Monsopiad enemies are kept. Proceed to the multi purpose hall to witness the "Cultural Dances Performances ". After the Cultural Dances Performance depart for Hotel in Kota Kinabalu. End of tour. Lok Kawi Wildlife Park & Klias wetland – EB-KK30

Itinerary 0900 hr  -  Meet on arrival or at hotel. Proceed for a 30 to 40 minutes drive via the old Penampang-Papar road to the southwestern part of Kota Kinabalu to the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park (about 25 km from the city centre). The Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, which occupies an area of 280 acres is one of the largest wildlife parks in Malaysia. Currently, the Park has more than 100 species of tropical animals comprising mammals, birds and reptiles. The park consists of two components: zoological and botanical, as well as a Children's Zoo. You will be able to witness rare animals like the endangered pygmy elephants, gibbons, clouded leopard, civet cats, tarsiers and orang utans. 1100 hr - Catch the entertaining Animal Show at the Park's Amphitheater (except Friday).
