Basic Tips for e-Borneo.com's Discussion Boards
(i.e.,
Forum, Classified Ads, and Event Boards) |
To participate in either of the Discussion boards, visitors would
firstly need to register
themselves. You can also edit
your user info at any time.
Please remember your author nickname and password as you will need
it in all of your postings.
In the event that you forgot your password, you can always get it
to be mailed to you by clicking on the 'Forgot Password' image icon found on the upper
right hand corner of any posting form.
It is important for your email address to be
functional in order
to have your password mailed to you.
Choose or click to one of the boards that you would like to post a
message in.
Next, click on to one of the subject that you would like to post a
message in.
On reaching a subject, if you wish to post a new topic (relevant
to the subject), click the 'Post New Topic' link which can be found on the upper right
hand corner of the board (note that the 'register' and 'edit user info' links can also be
found there).
In the new posting page, please fill in your correct username or
nick under 'author', and your 'password' (the same as the ones that you register with) as
well as your 'topic' or your posting will be unsuccessful.
You have an option to email posting to your contact (please no
'spams') under the 'e-mail post to' column.
As a topic starter, you also have an option to be notified when
someone replies to your posting (click on the box next to 'E-mail me for each reply posted').
To reply to a topic, first click on to a topic that you
which to
reply to. There, you will find a 'Post Reply' link, which is also next to a 'Post New
Topic' link, which also gives you another option to post a new topic on the subject.
In the posting page, again, please fill in your correct username
or nick under 'author', and your 'password' (the same as the ones that you register with)
or your posting will be unsuccessful.
